Congress, held after the fall of Napoleon, was to settle the new order of forces in Europe. It was an event of immense importance in the history of Europe. The congress has set the foundations for the relative harmony between the states, that has been destroyed only by the outbreak of the World War I.

| On Sep05,2018On 6th December, for the “Promised Land. City and Modernity” exhibition closing day we have prepared a show with 11 garments form the second half of the 19th century for the Museum of Polish History. During the show we have presented ladies’ dresses dating from the 1870s to the beginning of the 20th century, beach attires (ladies’ and men’s), ladies’ cycling attire, clothing of the poorer city dwellers (coachman’s and factory worker’s) and also widow’s and bride’s dresses.

Panie mogły także oddać się beztroskiemu przebieraniu w suknie z początku XIX stulecia.
