Foundation’s film productions
Several years ago the Nomina Rosae Foundation entered the film-making field as well, not only providing costumes for bigger and smaller film projects but also as a producer, creating its own unique films, in which we try to combine our historical knowledge, the aesthetic we have developed on our own and narrative focused on educational popularization of history and culture through beauty.
We work on a regular basis with a group of incredibly talented professional film-makers and together we already produced several smaller and bigger film productions including one feature-length documentary, „The Polish Portrait” – a film about Bolesław Barbacki, painter and social activist from Nowy Sącz, an incredible man, who is the best example of a perfect representant of Polish Positivism of the period of newly regained Polish independence.
We create films based on our own ideas, but we are also open to various proposals of cooperation within other cinematic projects.
Our films, trailers and teasers can be found on Nomina Rosae YouTube channel
