Fashion in the time of Marcin Kromer
| On Sep04,2018In the muesum in Biecz in so-called Kromerówka from 16.11 to the middle of December an exhibition of costumes from the Vita Cromeri spectacle is available for viewing. For the exhibition we have chosen 10 out of more than 20 costumes used in the show. Among them there is the splendid dress of Catherine Jagiellon, imitating a costly renaissance cloth of silver, the attire of Duke John of Finland, dress of ladies-in-waiting and courtiers, tailored on the basis of original 16th-century attires patterns. We also display the costume made for the Marcin Kromer character and his parents. Exposition is completed by elements of scenography used in the play as well as by snapshots of actors, wearing the costumes.
All of the costumes were designed by Maria Molenda and tailored in Maymerlin & Nomina Rosae atelier
