Come and see the premiere of “The mystery of Saint Kinga”
| On Sep05,2018Come and join us soon – March 15th – at the long awaited premiere of “The Mystery of Saint Kinga”, unique story about a patron saint of Sądecczyzna region and at the same time very important character in medieval Poland.
The premiere of “The Mystery of Saint Kinga” play by Storia Theatre will take place on March 15, 2015, at 6.00 PM in Sokół of Stary Sącz as a part of 9th Days of Father Professor Józef Tischner in Stary Sącz. The screenplay was created based on the spectacle prepared and staged by Nomina Rosae Theatre in the courtyard of the Poor Clare sisters monastery as a part of jubilee Early Music Festival in Staty Sącz in 2012. It is however a completely different story.
At the stage we will see: Justyna Stasik as Kinga, Maciej Gośniowski as duke Bolesław, Aneta Gierat as duchess Grzymisława, Wojciech Michno as Klemens of Ruszcza, Marta Kontny as Hungarian queen Mary, as well as Karolina Lisik, Magda Szczepanek, Aleksandra Powęzka, Małgorzata Szkotak, Joanna Sitko, Józef Więcławek, Maciej Rutkowski and also Karolina Lach and Olaf Olchawa.
The play is directed by Maria Molenda and Barbara Szewczyk, stage set is prepared by Filip Przybyłko, and choreography by Katarzyna Sanocka. Costumes are being created in the Atelier for Recreation of Early Garments and Costumes of the Nomina Rosae Foundation under supervision of their designer – Maria Molenda.
The play will be a real feast for eye and spirit and all of those, who on the stage seek amazement, mysticism but also the problems we, contemporary people know, beauty and love will surely not be disappointed.
