House of history in September
| On Sep05,2018Beginning of September marks the beginning of the second month of History’s House presence in Nowy Sącz. This month the exhibition of recreated garments called “Early Fashion Charm” is still available. The exhibition allows to travel through time from the medieval times to the beginning of the 20th century.
The exhibition shows also a recreated Polish national men’s dress, comprising of a ‘kontusz’ and a ‘żupan’, sewn based on an original 18th-century garment and on period iconography.
In September the History House will be open on 6th and 7th, 11th – 14th as well as 25th – 28th from 11 to 5 PM. For organized groups there is a possibility of visiting on different days, after setting the date with us beforehand.
Foundation has prepared a unique contest for the visitors. Every guest of the History House after seeing the exhibition can enter the lotter and the winner will take part in a professional photo shoot as a model posing in historical garment. Photographs will be taken by a well-known artist-photographer from Nowy Sącz, Piotr Droździk.
History House is also preparing an interesting offer of workshops and lectures for schools and organized groups. Details will soon appear on Nomina Rosae Foundation’s webpages.
