“FASHIONS” exhibition opening day in the House of History
| On Oct08,2018We invite you to the House of History on August 8th at 18:00 for the opening of the “FASHIONS. Antique clothes and fashion accessories from the Nomina Rosae collection and private collections from the years 1870–1950” exhibition.
The aim of the exhibition is to present mainly the fashion of Nowy Sącz townsmen, that’s why we exhibited there mostly objects connected with the former citizens of Nowy Sącz.
The exhibition will include dresses, men’s clothes, underwear, fashion accessories (incl. handbags, fans, gloves) and also photos that immortalized often very stylish attires of the citizens of Sącz.
At the exhibition we present objects from the Foundation’s collections; among them gifts presented by: Mrs Marta Kalarus, Mrs Katarzyna Kalczyńska, Mrs Ewa Kustron de Ramos, Mrs Monika Ślepiak, Mrs Alicja Derkowska and Mr Tadeusz Kopiec. Also items from private collections will be presented, lent for the period of exhibition by: Mrs Magda Miller, Mrs & Mr Znamirowski, Mrs Katarzyna Kalczyńska, Mrs Marta Kalarus i Mrs Anna Ombachowa, and also Mr Tadeusz Kopiec and Mrs&Mr Maja and Łukasz Kopiec, whom we greatly thank for their help, favor and support of the Foundation.

The exhibition will also include a little photo corner – miniature atelier, where the visitors can try on retro headdresses and take a photo as a souvenir.
Exhibition at the House of History (21 Pijarska 21 str., Nowy Sącz) in August will be open from Thrusday to Sunday from 11.00 to 16.00. The visit is also possible on other days and hours (call at 696 397 540 to book your visit)
The exhibition is organized by the Nomina Rosae Foundation and the Professional Self-Government Association with support of the Lesser Poland Voivodeship.
