We’ve awarded another title of the Honorary Ambassador of the Shtetl of Tsanz.
It was given to Julie Boudreaux and posthumously to Charles Merrill. They are exceptional people for the Shtetl of Tsanz, merited in building the values which we hold dear.
The official Gala is an open event – we invite you to the Hotel Beskid on March 25th at 16:00 (Sunday). Laudation for the awarded will be given by Edyta Danielska.The Honorary Ambassador of the Shtetl of Tsanz is awarded in Sądecczyzna region to people and institutions involved in cross-religion dialog and contributing in caring for historical legacy of minorities. A special statuette is awarded by the Shtetl of Tsanz, historical programme of the Nomina Rosae Foundation. Until now we’ve awarded it to: Markus Lustig (2015), Anna Grygiel-Huyryn; Kazimiera and Józef Jarosz (2016), Moniek Goldfinger (2016), Władysław Żaroffe and prof.
Ira Goetz (2017). The statuette awarding gala takes place in March, the same month as the European Day of the Righteous, because for us the Awarded are such people.
