oday the director of the Shtetl of Tsanz, Łukasz Połomski defended his doctoral thesis!

Dissertation entitled “Between backwardness and modernity. Society of Nowy Sącz in the years 1867–1939” was prepared under direction of His Magnificence prof. Kazimierz Karolczak, Rector of the National Education Committee Pedagogical University in Kraków.

His public defence was attended by the representatives of the Shtetl of Tsanz including Mrs Anna Grygiel-Huryn, Honorary Ambassador of the Shtetl of Tsanz.
