We invite you for events dedicated to the 500-year anniversary of Reformation! In October we will have in Nowy Sącz many interesting and important scholarly, educational and religious initiatives. Particularly important events will take place at the end of the month. Here’s the whole programme:

October 8th (Sunday) – 15:30 – a walk „German Dąbrówka – in traces of Nowy Sącz Evangelics” – start at the evangelical cemetery (Orkana str.);

October 11th (Wednesday) – Antique Writing Workshops – archival workshops on the old writing based on sources connected with i.a. protestants (taking place in schools after phone reservations: 18 442 06 59;)

October 13–14th (Friday–Saturday) – from 10:00 – Location-based Game “In traces of Nowy Sącz Evangelics”;

October 20–26th – the LABYRINTH OF HISTORY (lectures, meetings related to reformation);

October 28th (Saturday) – “Open doors church”: visiting the church and archeological excavations (Evangelical church – guided tours at 11:00 & 12:00); 17:30 – Evangelics in Sądecczyzna – lecture by Łukasz Połomski (House of History);

October 29th (Sunday) – Evangelical Cemetery – 16:00 – revealing of the monument commemorating the Evangelics of Nowy Sącz.

October 31st (Tuesday) – In Reformation’s Memory – 18:00 – Service at the Evangelical Church (Pijarska 21).
