On 17.06.2016 r. in Sokół in Stary Sącz STORIA Theatre will present the “KINGA” play. Its a new production, a completely different story about an exceptional Saint, patron of the Sądecczyzna land. In this narrative about Kinga the Storia Theatre creates an intimate, even mysterious atmosphere, trying to “touch” the secret of the Saint’s personality.

– We begin the play at the end of Kinga’s life – says Maria Molenda, co-author of the script – She suffers because of her illnes, the hour of her death is coming, but she doesn’t want to stop neither working nor praying. In this difficult moments she goes back in her memories to, in a way, come to terms with herself, with what she had to sacrifice, to achieve the goals she set for herself. She struggles not only with herself, but also with Satan , who makes the last attempt to tempt Kinga.

Starring as Kinga is Aleksandra POWĘZKA, actress engaged with STORIA Theatre and Nomina Rosae Theatre.  We will also see Łukasz Oleś and Józef Więcławek on the stage.
