156 years ago, on 22nd January 1863, Temporary National Government in Warsaw issued a Manifesto that proclaimed the beginning of an uprising agaisnt the Russian Empire.

The 8th Labiyrinth of History, which we organized in 2013 was dedicated to that great movement towards independence. At the programme’s website in the Library section (www.labitynthistorii.pl/biblioteka.php) you can find articles by guests we invited then, incl.:
