“Darkness Shrouds the Earth” – workshops for the teachers
| On Feb10,2019On 9th February workshops for teachers took place. They were complementing the knowledge teachers gained during the study trip within the “Darkness shrouds the Earth” project
The workshops hosted by educators of Ethnogrpahic Museum in Kraków concerned the psychological and emotional aspects of Holocaust education. The workshops’ programme consisted of three thematic segments:
— Emotion hidden in the dark. Working with emotions developing in the receivers of Holocaust-related content [dr Anna Łachowska & dr Katarzyna Wanat (Institute of Emotional Education Foundation)]
— The grammar of culture. About possibilities and limitations in looking at the world through our “culture glasses” [Urszula Sobczyk & Anna Grajewska (Edukacation Department, Ethnographic Museum in Kraków)]
— They were here with us. How to involve the youth in discovering and attempts to commemorate [Aneta Ceglarek & Karolina Jastrzębska-Mitzner (Forum for Dialogue)]
