On the anniversary of Emanuel Ringelblum’s death we invite you for a screening of an incredible film about work on the creation of the Warsaw ghetto archive.
10Th of March marks a 75th anniversary of the death of Emanuel Ringelblum, one of the most world-famous people born in Nowy Sącz. This graduate of the Jan Długosz 1st High School in Nowy Sącz was the founder of the Warsaw ghetto archive.
On this occasion we invite you to a special screening of a unique film about Ringelblum. “Who will write our history” is an American production directed by Roberta Grossman.
On 10th March 2019 at 17:45 the screening in MCK SOKÓŁ will be accompanied by an introduction by historians: Łukasz Połomski and Artur Franczak from the Shtetl of Tsanz
On 11th of March the film will be screened at 8:00, 9:00 & 11:00. Screenings will be accompanied by introduction by Aleksandra Bańkowska from National Academy of Sciences. All schools are welcome to reserve seats in the box offices of MCK SOKÓŁ.
It is worth to know this incredible man, whom Sącz has forgotten about for over 70 years!
