“Darkness Shrouds the Earth” study trips for the students
| On Apr07,2019On the last three weekends the study trips for the youth took place within the “Darkness Shrouds the Earth” project
The route and informations the participants learned on the trip was similar to the teacher’s study trip of autumn last year. Students from school of all of the Lesser Poland visited the Ulma Family Museum of Poles Saving Jews in World War II in Markowa, Museum – Memorial Site in Bełżec, as well as the permanent exhibition of the POLIN Museum of the History of Polish Jews. They also took part in a specially prepared workshop.
Those were the last trips within the “Darkness Shrouds the Earth” project. Right now the teachers and students are to work locally in their own schools and towns according to the scripts they proposed in the autumn. The conclusion and summary of the project and presentation of the results of their work is planned for thie upcoming winter..
The coordinator of the project is the Voivodship Pedagogical Library in Nowy Sącz.
