| On Oct09,2018From 21st to 28th October we invite you to Nowy Sącz for the 11th Labyrinth of History This year’s Labyrinth deals with the history of women. Within the programme lectures and conference by students, teachers and researchers are planned. In the Labyrinth we will also have artistic events – “Kinga” play performed by Storia Theatre and a historical fashion show.

| On Sep05,2018The 10th jubilee Labyrinth of History has ended. This year the programme was dedicated to the Congress of Vienna. Congress, held after the fall of Napoleon, was to settle the new order of forces in Europe. It was an event of immense importance in the history of Europe. The congress has set the foundations for the relative harmony between the states, that has been destroyed only by the outbreak of the World War I.

| On Sep05,2018Beginning of September marks the beginning of the second month of History’s House presence in Nowy Sącz. This month the exhibition of recreated garments called “Early Fashion Charm” is still available. The exhibition allows to travel through time from the medieval times to the beginning of the 20th century.

The “Family 1914–1918” contest aimed especially at young people, consisted of preparing a literary work in the form of an essay, interview, fabularized story or any other revolving around the topic “Family in the face of war” and which was supposed to be about war experiences of the
