| On Oct09,2018From September 24th to February 28th in the House of History a new exhibition will be available: “Everyday life under occupation. Nowy Sącz 1939–1945”. The exhibition was created thanks to patronage of Mr Charles Merrill, which enabled us the access to additional rooms and preparation of the exhibition.

| On Oct09,2018On November 11th, on the Independence Day we invite you at 17:00 to the House of History at 21 Pijarska str for the lecture by Mrs Anna Totoń, a local history expert who will be talking about the victims of Biegonice execution (August 21st, 1941), during which also Bolesław Barbacki artist painter and social activist, who served the city in many ways, was killed.

| On Oct08,2018At the end of April 1942 400 people of Nowy Sącz ghetto were murdered. April 29th and 30th, 1942 are some of the most tragic days i the history of our city. The victims were chosen based on a list of pre-war Jewish library readers.

| On Sep07,2018On March 15, 2018 r. at 18:00 we invite you to the House of History (21 Pijarska str.). The Shtetl Cheder will host Mr Tadeusz Bystrzak, who will tell us about Teodor Talowski. An exceptional architect from Galicia, who was connected with our city too. We meet to promote Mr Bystrzak’s book entitled „Talowski”. The meeting will be hosted by the director of the Shtetl of Tsanz dr Łukasz Połomski. The meeting admission is free. At the event the album

| On Sep05,2018Od trzech lat For the last three years the Shtetl of Tsanz strives to commemorate the victims of the monstrous crime that Operation Reinhardt was. This year we met at 8 locations in the south of Poland. Together with local authorities, activists and citizens we were lighting the light of memory.
