Young Ambassadors of Tolerance
| On Sep05,2018We are very happy to inform that Nomina Rosae Foundation has received a grant within the Citizens for Democracy programme, coordinated by the Stefan Batory Foundation in collaboration with the Polish Children and Youth Foundation, financed by the European Economic Area Financial Mechanisms.
The aim of the “Shtetl of Tsanz – Young Ambassadors of Tolerance” programme is to prepare the young people of Nowy Sacz and Sadecczyzna region to independently act against stereotypes and antisemitism. We will create a group of selected 20 young people from the secondary and post-secondary schools, that will take part in the specialized, very interesting and attractive training touching upon the history of Jewish people, with particular reference to the former Jewish inhabitants of the Sadecczyzna region. Trips, workshops, interesting lectures, artistic activities – including joint work on a movie, handbook and exhibition – await young adepts of the course.
